Therapeutic Actions

Contains electrolytes and carboxymethylcellulose as a thickening agent to serve as a substitute for saliva in dry mouth syndromes.


Indications



  • Management of dry mouth and throat in xerostomia and hyposalivation caused by stroke, medications (including those that cause dysfunction of the salivary glands), radiation therapy, chemotherapy, Sjögren syndrome, Bell palsy, HIV/AIDS, lupus, aging, emotional factors, hoarse voice, scratchy throat, salivary gland disorders, other illnesses
