Binds to estrogen receptors, has antiestrogen effects, and inhibits growth of estrogen receptor–positive breast cancer cell lines.

Indications

Treatment of advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal women with estrogen receptor positive disease or estrogen receptor unknown tumors

Available Forms

Tablets—60 mg

Dosages

Adults

60 mg PO daily; continue until disease progression occurs.
