Supracervical Laparoscopic Hysterectomy


Supracervical laparoscopic hysterectomy is the removal of the uterus without the cervix through a laparoscope.


Possible equipment needed for the procedure includes a laparoscope, a Harmonic scalpel, an electrosurgical unit, a morcellator, a generator and foot pedal, a Gimpelson tenaculum, and minor laparoscopic instruments.
