Therapeutic Actions
Blocks DNA synthesis and repair, causing cell death in active and resting lymphocytes and monocytes.
Indications
Treatment of active hairy cell leukemia
Unlabeled uses: Chronic lymphocytic leukemia, non-Hodgkin lymphomas, acute myeloid leukemia, Waldenström macroglobulinemia
Contraindications and Cautions
Contraindicated with hypersensitivity to cladribine or any components, pregnancy, lactation.
Use cautiously with active infection, myelosuppression, debilitating illness, renal or hepatic impairment.

Dosages
Adults
Single course given by continuous IV infusion of 0.09–0.1 mg/kg/day for 7 days.
Pediatric patients
Safety and efficacy not established.
