Part Summary
Part 2 aims to provide guidance on how you can:
• Plan and evaluate your health promotion work using a basic framework.
• Identify the views and needs of the clients/users/receivers of health promotion, and set priorities for your work.
• Link your work to the efforts of colleagues and to local and national strategies.
• Use an evidence-based approach, through using published research, doing your own research when necessary and auditing your work, thus ensuring that your efforts are effective and provide value for money.
• Organise yourself and manage your work in order to be effective and efficient.
