IMMUNIZING AGENTS CLIENT TEACHING


For All Vaccines, Toxoids, Immune Serums, and Antitoxins



  • Keep a written record of all immunizations for each family member.


  • Use acetaminophen (Tylenol) to relieve pain at injection site and fever.



  • Stay with health care provider at least 30 minutes after receiving immunization.


  • If unsure if you have received immunization, it is better to take it than chance getting the disease.


  • Make sure children receive required immunizations at correct age intervals.
