Indications
Treatment of acute migraines with or without aura in adults
Contraindications and Cautions
Contraindicated with allergy to frovatriptan, active CAD, ischemic heart disease, Prinzmetal angina, peripheral or cerebral vascular syndromes, uncontrolled hypertension, hemiplegic or basilar migraine, use of an ergot compound or other triptan within 24 hr.
Use cautiously with hepatic or renal impairment, risk factors for CAD, lactation, pregnancy.

Tablets—2.5 mg
Dosages
Adults
2.5 mg PO as a single dose at first sign of migraine; if headache returns, may be repeated after 2 hr. Do not use more than 3 doses/24 hr. Safety of treating more than four headaches/30 days has not been established.
Pediatric patients
Safety and efficacy not established for patients younger than 18 yr.
